Growing up, I dog and house sat for my neighbors. As a kid I thought it was cool to be at someone else's house without any parents around. What kid doesn't dream of that? As time went on I realized that the care I was providing to the pet as well as the trust and peace of mind I was providing to my neighbors was more beneficial/important than a teenager being away from her parents for the night.
As the years went on and I started to perfect the services I provided, I started receiving more and more requests. My neighbors spoke highly of me because of the trust they had in me and the care I provided to their pets.
The neighbor I started dog sitting for saw the love and passion I have for this business and suggested I start my own business. I ran with this idea. I have always liked helping people and I hate saying no; I would rather go out of my way to help others than to have them be stuck between a rock and a hard place. From that I started hiring sitters when I realized I couldn't do everything on my own.
I push myself to provide the best care I can and I expect that from the sitters I hire. My hope is to help anyone who needs it by providing care to their family by becoming a companion, friend, or family member to not only your pet, but to you as well.
